They say once an engineer, always an engineer. My desire to build and understand systems and processes brought me on a logical path of a well-paid and well-regarded Test Flight Engineer career at Bell Helicopter. However, my ambitions grandeur and the drive to build and create quickly outgrew the tightly defined engineer job description, and shortly I found myself joining my family and developing a business that manufactures and distributes hookah tobacco internationally. As a business owner, I quickly had to become versed in law, accounting, bookkeeping, and HR – if not on a pro level, but enough to be dangerous in a meeting.
I’ve become a real modern day Renaissance man, a glorified generalist.
